Dental Bridges

A dental bridge is a restoration used to replace a missing tooth by joining an artificial tooth permanently to adjacent teeth or already existing dental implants. Generally, a false tooth is fused between two crowns in order to replace the missing tooth.

Custom-made to fit the space, a dental bridge recreates the look of a full smile and prevents the surrounding teeth from drifting out of position. A dental bridge restores the ability to properly chew and speak. As well, from a preventative view, a dental bridge helps to protect the exposed gum from a missing tooth, tooth decay to the surrounding teeth, and from gum disease. With proper oral hygiene, a dental bridge can last ten years or longer.
